Golfing at Islas del Mar

Welcome to Eagle Village! Eagle Village was constructed on Islas del Mar, which is located at water’s edge in northwest Mexico, in a region known in the U.S. as Rocky Point. The 320-hectare second-home resort community enjoys a unique and spectacular setting alongside the Sea of Cortez, a striking view of raw desert and shimmering blue sea.

A number of golf courses gracing the desert landscapes of Mexico bear the Jack Nicklaus name, yet the Bear’s signature course at Islas del Mar stands as one of the country’s most memorable. If you are a golf fan, you are defiantly going to love this course and you won’t regret a minute of it. And even if you aren’t really a golf fan, you will have to try this out. Incredibly beautiful in its design and layout, and set before amazing Sea of Cortez panoramas, the well maintained Golf Club at Islas del Mar is practically one part golf, one part nature.

The course is surrounded by pristine salt water lagoons abounding with wildlife. Scenery enveloping the course includes the “Cerro Prieto” mountain and the marvelous Sea of Cortés. The Islas del Mar golf course is both challenging and fun. The club house offers beverage service both on the course and on the terrace. Although small, there is also a golf shop to meet all your basic needs.

Uniquely creative golf programming throughout each year might present the ideal opportunity for families to play together, where generations can grow closer. Special events might include kids’ instructional clinics and a “Families on the Fairways” tournament every summer.
